Welcome! My name is Alex, and I am the face behind Distinct Threads. I am 28 years old, from New Jersey, and am a full-time market researcher! I found my love for this business before I started my full-time job and have been running this page alongside my 9-5 job for you 5 years now! A little about me: I am obsessed with dogs, I played soccer in college, and I am now married to my high school sweetheart.

I started selling clothes in March 2020 when I was sent home from college because of the global pandemic. During this time, I fell in love with finding my old clothes a new home as well as creating unique pieces. I started with tie-dying and bleach-dying, then I moved to embroidery and eventually reworking!

Distinct Threads has come a long way, and now offers unique collections of up-cycled and embroidered clothing!

Fast fashion is destroying our planet. The main mission of Distinct Threads is to bring you unique pieces for a good price. Distinct Threads even has a called 'Distinct Renewal' where thrifted clothing is up-cycled with embroidery to give it a new life!
